Policy introduced: 8 September 2026. This page explains how readers can report problems and the standard for recording changes.
Report an error
Email hello@freemedicaljournals.com or use our Contact page. Include the article URL, the passage you are concerned about and, where possible, a reliable source explaining the correction. State clearly if the concern involves medical safety.
Please do not send medical records, identifying patient information or requests for a diagnosis. The editorial contact channel is not an emergency or clinical service.
How corrections should be handled
Guest Posting LLC is responsible for handling editorial complaints. Reported factual, sourcing and medical-safety problems should be assessed, with qualified clinical input where needed. Unsupported or potentially harmful material should be corrected, withdrawn or withheld as appropriate.
A correction that materially changes the medical meaning of an article should include a dated note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, formatting and broken-link repairs do not by themselves constitute medical review.
Understanding dates
The publication date records when an article was first published. A content-update date records an edit. A medical-review date records a completed review by the named professional. These dates must not be treated as interchangeable.
A future review date, where provided, is a target for reassessment rather than proof that a further review has occurred. Substantive changes to evidence or safety advice may require an earlier update.
Our editorial and medical review policy describes the requirements for new articles and substantive updates.
